2. Filing a notice

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), your notice must include: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed; (3) the link to the listing or material you want removed; (4) your name, address, phone number and email; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

3. What we do

When we receive a valid notice we promptly remove or disable access to the material and tell the seller who posted it. Knowingly false notices can make the sender liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

4. Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send us a counter-notice with: your signature; identification of the material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and phone number with consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or any district where we may be found, if you are outside the US) and to accept service from the person who sent the notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the notice sender tells us it has filed a court action.

5. Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
