A remarkable possession deserves a remarkable introduction. Whether it is a country house, a motor car of distinguished lineage, a collection assembled over a lifetime or a private aircraft, the manner in which it is presented shapes the way it is received. Château Noir was founded on a simple belief: that fine things should be shown in fine company, to buyers who appreciate them, and without the seller surrendering a share of the sale.
A house, not a marketplace
Château Noir is a curated international house rather than an open bazaar. Every listing sits within one of six sections: Estates, Motors, Rentals, Collections, Jets and Chauffeurs. Each is arranged so that a buyer may move from a villa on a lake to a classic coupé, or from a private jet to a chauffeured arrival, in the same unhurried manner.

The tone is that of a members' club: quiet, considered and discreet. We would rather present a smaller number of excellent things well than a great many things carelessly.
The terms, plainly stated
We believe sellers should know precisely where they stand, so the terms are simple.
- A basic listing is free. There is no charge to present your property, motor car, collection, aircraft or service.
- We take no commission on any sale. Whatever your buyer pays is yours.
- Optional upgrades, should you wish for more prominence. A Featured listing ($99) is placed higher in its section and highlighted. A Premium listing ($249) receives our foremost placement, inclusion in the newsletter and the chance to appear in the Journal.

There is no obligation to upgrade. Many sellers will find a free listing entirely sufficient.
The Founding Sellers
We are inviting a small circle to help establish the house. The first fifty members to register an account become Founding Sellers, and they receive two lasting courtesies:
- A permanent gold founder's emblem on every listing they present, marking them among the house's first.
- Sixty days of Featured placement for each listing, at no charge.

These places are limited, and once fifty members have registered, the circle will close.
Presented, and then promoted
A listing at Château Noir is not simply posted and left. Selected listings are featured in the Château Noir letter, our newsletter to subscribers, and may be written about here in the Journal. Every enquiry receives an instant reply, so that a buyer's interest is acknowledged the moment it is expressed and passed to you without delay.

We are an international house, and we welcome sellers wherever they may be. A château in France, a motor car in California and an aircraft in the Gulf may all be presented side by side.
An invitation
If you have something worthy of the house, we would be delighted to receive it. Listing takes only a few minutes, and it costs nothing. Present your listing with us.
